Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

A quick 20-minute pasta recipe with tender shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add lemon juice and zest, stirring well.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add the pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Season with more salt, pepper, and parsley.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
