Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Heat-treat the flour: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread the flour on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let cool.
  • Mix the butter and sugars: In a medium bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add milk and vanilla: Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
  • Combine dry ingredients: Gradually add the heat-treated flour and salt to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips: Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Serve and enjoy: Grab a spoon and indulge, or refrigerate the dough for a firmer texture before eating.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
